Axios: AI deals hit roughly $235B in one day as Anthropic files

Axios tallied about $235 billion in AI financing on Monday: Anthropic's IPO, which may seek a record $100 billion, SpaceX's $40 billion in GPU lease debt, and Meta's plan to raise up to $95 billion. Axios notes Anthropic has committed roughly $750 billion to compute, about seven times what the IPO may raise. Stratechery's Ben Thompson argues the core business is very profitable but competition may eat the profits while investors face continued dilution.
